At SNAP, we turn what’s next into what sells—partnering with retailers and licensees to create innovative, shelf-ready beauty and lifestyle moments that connect with consumers and drive results.

Meet
the founder

Kate Kimmerle has a rare ability to see what’s next, and turn it into what sells.

Long before founding SNAP, Kate was the trusted beauty authority among friends—blending curiosity, instinct, and the ability to recognize what people actually want. That combination of social intuition and innate leadership acumen would become the foundation of her career.

In 2000, Kate launched SNAP with a clear goal: create innovative, accessible beauty and lifestyle products that resonate with consumers and drive results for retail partners. Over the past 25+ years, she has developed and scaled brands across mass, drug, and specialty channels, bringing products to major national retailers including Target, Amazon, Ulta Beauty, Kroger, Walgreens, CVS, and Walmar

She is widely recognized for identifying whitespace early. In 2012, she founded Miss Spa, helping introduce sheet masks and K-beauty to U.S. mass retail and making professional-grade skincare more approachable and affordable for everyday consumers. Since then, she has led the launch of multiple category-first brands and hundreds of innovative products across beauty, lifestyle, and beyond.

Known for pairing visionary thinking with disciplined analytics, Kate has built SNAP into a trusted partner for owned, licensed, and private-label brands, blending compelling storytelling with operational excellence.

Whether you’re a friend in need of advice or a brand ready to scale, Kate and her team are always ready to answer the call with a plan that is accessible, impactful, and built to last.

Building brands and opportunity

We believe businesses should build more than brands, they should build opportunity. That’s why we proudly support women-focused mentorship organizations like Step Up, DePaul Women in Business Network, and Women’s Business Network Council.

We’re equally committed to conscious creation — prioritizing eco-responsible materials and sustainable, certified cruelty-free practices.

Your causes are our causes. We stand behind the missions that matter most to our partners.
